Last Day in Tokyo

Last day in Tokyo today. I'm having a lazy morning and then popping over to have a peek at the shiny new Topshop store in Shinuku this afo. I'm starting off my day in this Topshop shearling biker jacket and leather A-line dress with clompy clogs - a little bit Celine meets Burberry wouldn't you say?

 

Then for my visit to the store I had this in mind, All from my Topshop freebies yet again. A lovely transparent velvet striped tee (you can see it on the model here) quirky little sequin hotpants with pleated mini skirt, faux suspender tights and black leather platforms with ring detail.

...and last but not least for my date at The Lovers Rock Cafe tonight with my beau Sonny, I'll be donning this little beauty! Thanks Toppers, I've had a lot of fun!

Hot Topic

I started off attempting to wear this wintery ensemble this morning as my Topshop freebies are just too enticing. Come on, who could resist this gorgeous cardi? However, it was ditched pretty quickly, along with the woolly hat, super thick socks and furry boots as soon as I left the safety of the air conditioned hotel room. SWELT-ER-RING!

Left only with my negligee and bare paws I ended up  changing into this gorgeous little number...

Check out the shoes - I think  I'm in lust!
 

This afternoon I'm off to Giorgio's Spa (Armani darling!) All that shopping in skyscraper heels has left my paws ravaged. Later we're going to the best sushi restaurant in town - vegetarian for me, I love a bit of raw carrot!

Toppers in Tokyo

Hey guys here's todays Topshop in Tokyo outfit.
Kinda 80's country chic.

 

I just had a look for these cord floral jeans but they seem to be sold out already! Unlucky because they are bang on trend...

 

you can still get my cable knit jumper though.

 

I've been mainly shopping today (what a surprise!) in the Shinjuku district. Loads of cool shops - I'm literally laden down like a pack-rabbit!

This evening I'm being taken out for dinner so I've chosen this jewel encrusted velvet dress. Might leave the furry coat at home though - it's not really cosying up weather - 84°F to be exact!

Tokyo Calling

Konnichiha!

 Greetings from Tokyo!

The gorgeous peeps at Topshop decided that they would like little old moi to help them launch their latest store - in the Shinjuku district in Tokyo. They asked me to pop over last weekend to style twelve outfits from their latest collection for a catwalk show at Tokyo Girls Collection. The event is huge with over 30,000 people attending and has 4 huge stages featuring runway shows from all the big names on the Japanese high street... The show itself was amazing and when I saw myself projected onto the giant screens I nearly fell off my chair!

The best thing was they invited me back for a few days of shopping, sightseeing and sneak peeking at the new store. Oh and did I mention gifting me the 12 outfits I styled. Squeal! So here I am sitting in my very swish hotel room in Tokyo central, tapping away on my lappy with a glass of cold champagne and my aching paws in the ice bucket - filled with hot water and salts (Thanks Sonny). We've had a long day of sightseeing - The five storied pagoda was very impressive and i loved the Sensō-ji temple. I tied my fortune to the tree as it said I would have bad luck - I hope it blows away quickly! we also took a trip to Meiji Jingu, a beautiful park though we were really just there to have our picture taken with the cosplay-zoku girls on the bridge in. Their outfits are crazy but somehow they look beautiful. For now though I think I'll stick to my trusted labels - and toppers of course! we ended our day at Café素多亜!!!! The owner picks one cup out of hundreds cups he owns just to match your personality! Mine was very British looking with a hunting scene racing around the saucer. Not sure how appropriate that was for a furry like me, maybe he's referring to my outfit hunting skills as a famous fashionista!?

Hey guys, Today I'm wearing Topshop Unique... and wondering how the Topshop launch has gone in NY have any of you been in? I'm interested if you think it lives up to the hype? It was even on the evening news here!
