PRINT SHOP NOW OPEN!

Yes, you heard it right, My little print shop is finally open again! I was forced to close after some troubles with suppliers and also simply being super super busy bringing you all the lovely extra little things I have been working on.

There has also been a small change in delivery times. I now only ship on Fridays which means I have more time to dedicate to my art work. If you order before 9am GMT on a Friday your order will be sent that day. If you order after then it will be sent the following Friday.

To celebrate the reopening of the store there are some new prints... woo hoo!

Winter Warmers - I model some of my own designs for this winter
*
Dress Up - my very special birthday outfits!
*
Through Rose Tinted (small) - a smaller version of an old favourite
*
Dream a Little Dream - a darling portrait of moi
*
Les Lunettes - my favourite sunnies get another outing
*
The Cool Girls - the name says it all!

And as always all prints and postcards come with a special collectible Fifi Lapin card

As some of you may have heard there are some problems with the UK post office at the moment. There is a strike of postal worker happening this week and there may be more strikes which of course will have an impact on the delivery time of any orders and may make them slower than normal.

So for this week only any orders made will be sent on Monday to try and get to the top of the pile so to speak! For more info on delivery times please see the FAQ's on my website.

So hope you enjoy the new prints, I'm off to take Stella for a walk... to the shops!

p.s. just to confuse things even further my shop will be offline again for a short time from 10PM to 11PM EST Thursday night for server upgrades. I apologize for the downtime, but these upgrades will have a big impact over the holiday season and into the future. kisses xx

Playtime Wooden Sculpture

Some time ago I was very interested and looking for some contacts to produce a vinyl toy of one of my illustrations about a cat playing with a ball of yarn, with not much luck to be honest :) but after a few days I received a really nice email from the flash animator & illustrator Gary Ham with base in Phoenix, AZ.

He came up with the suggestion of collaborate together and produce a more crafty version of this toy, he has a wood shop and has been producing some great wooden, vinyl and resin toys before by himself. So he created this amazing wooden sculpture with moveable parts based on my design and it appeared in my mailbox about two weeks ago, so Sweet! Here you can check out some pictures of the toy when I received it.

I just finished the piece and I think it turned out well, what do you think? This guy is 6.75" to the tip of his highest ear and 7.25" to the top of his tail, just the perfect size! Is one in a kind and available for exhibition if I receive any invitation. There is something great about having presence on internet and get in contact with the perfect people in the perfect time to make possible some collaborative projects like this. Thank you so much Gary for your invaluable help!

Farewell paris

Here I am wearing Twentyeighttwelve carrying my Lauduree bakery bag packed full of macaroons!

No trip to Paris would be complete without a visit to the world famous Laduree bakery to pick up some of their delicious macaroons... and the other cakes were pretty tempting to!

check out the lips on those cupcakes!

I was so excited to see that the gorgeously talented Christian Louboutin has designed not only an illustrated gift box but his own macaroon - one half black one half red just like the soles on his famous shoes.

the hallowed macaroon bottom row 3rd from the left

We enjoyed a glass of red with our meal in first class on the way home on the Eurostar while I made a really long list of all the items that I would be ordering from the Paris catwalks. By the time we got to London I had polished off a whole box. whoops!

Here are some of the things you'll definitely see me wearing next year

Yves blue from Yves Saint Laurent and lots of lace from Viktor and Rolf

Parisian Chic from Sonia Rykiel and vampish red from Christian Dior

Two takes on frills from Giambattista Valli and Chanel

simple chic from Chloe and Celine

Hope you like my choices

paris je t'aime

So as Promised my lovelies, here's a snap taken on my Diana camera of Sonny and I at the weekend in Paris on our little date courtesy of Eurostar. I'm wearing a rather lovely little Eley Kishimoto dress and Sonny is wearing Chloë Sevigny for O.C. I am rather partial to that pillar box red jacket and am wondering if it will fit me... Don't you love those green chairs that they have everywhere in the jardin des Tuileries? I wanted one but Sonny flatly refused to carry it home on the train for me. Plus I'm not sure where you would buy one from, I'll have to get my PA on it. They would look lovely in my courtyard.

So did you manage to see the McQueen show? I heard from my seat in the auditorium that the link had crashed because so many lady Gaga fans logged on after she tweeted about it. Oh the power of twitter eh!

Well you can still watch it over here and I must say it was pretty spectacular. Alexander certainly knows how to put on a show. The models looked as if they had been plucked from another planet and transported to earth via some magical power... they certainly didn't walk there themselves - those shoes were dangerous! Not sure how I'm going to tackle walking in those bad boys but look closely at the clothes themselves absolutely beautiful shapes complimented by intricate prints. I've got my eye on this one...
