When I designed this dress for Fifi, I wanted something classy, beautiful and timeless. The shape is flattering and classic; the colours are rich, warm and luxurious; and the slit from the neck to the waist shows a peek of fur - sensuous but not slutty! I imagine the top to be made of delicate Tuscan yellow chiffon, and the skirt to be a mass of deep burgundy silk. The peter pan collar adds a playful touch, as does the checkered purse - which matches the black and white stripes seen on the collar and hem. The dress sweeps to the floor impressively, and the stars on the bodice show that, after all, Fifi is the star of the show!

I pondered what would be best for you to wear to your book launch for a long time and I hope it makes your heart flutter. I paired a classic black and white striped boat neck three quarter sleeve top with a ballerina inspired tutu in a golden yellowish tone. For your lucky rabbit feet Chanel clogs with socks that ad a pop of colour. In honor of the eve before London Fashion week I thought a Jack flag clutch would be tres tres chic. A haute pink Polaroid for the memories and reading glasses to read your new splendid book to the masses!

This outfit is inspired by Alice in Wonderland, when Alice grows inside the White Rabbit’s house. It has three pieces: a waist jacket made with embossed leather and hinges with a Victorian style, a white tank top with carrot print and a blue skirt with tucks inspired by the wooden panels of the house and two zippers around it. The accessories are: a mini straw hat with a leather band. Blue sunglasses with tin tacks. A clutch made with hinges and a red band with a bow in the middle. The shoes are stilettos with two zippers on each one made with brown leather.

While I was drawing this outfit, I definitely wanted to avoid pieces which are too trendy, posh , classy, simple and mostly matching together. I preferred to draw an outfit that looks “ugly” since it’s stuffed with numerous patterns and lots of colors and designs, with accessories that makes it even more cluttering but at the same time these elements make it look beautiful. So I guess that’s what it’s called the “beautiful ugly” and that’s the style which I wanted to add to my work. Well I personally think that this is enough of description, you just have to contemplate the outfit.

This outfit is inspired by a 1920's look. The sequined jacket compliments the rose print skirt. The accessories I chose to include were floral stockings, a pair of vintage glasses, and a black satin hair bow!

A geometrically designed dress of pink silk and white lace panels and a sheer inset at the neckline. The dress is worn under a circular cut camel coloured sleeveless wool jacket. Accessorised with pink suede 30's style shoes, a large pearl ring, a mint bakelite oval ring and a spherical leather bag with a copper spiral zip. All topped off with a mint leather frilled headpiece.

A cute outfit to wear to the book launch.
When i think of Fifi, i think of sweet pastel colors.
So ice cream hues with a pop of yellow to prevent over sweetness.
