The Enamored Owl

Celebrating two years since I did a piece called "The Enamored Whale" which by the way has become in one of the more popular pieces in my portfolio now I have done a new piece inspired by that particular one, and probably the second of enamored creatures series. If you want to drop ideas n my brain what creature you guys would like to see in the future?
I really hope you like it!

Paper Pushers

I was invited to be part of this show at 1988 Gallery in San Francisco, the theme is open but all the works are in paper. I did five new pieces from a series called "Maquinaria Interna" all in coffee and ink on 7X10" paper. Inspired in part by the day of the dead, yes the mexican celebration.

Joey Ramone

Hopefully this is the first one of a series for this musicians-portraits tribute I'm planning to do. Let's see if the time is generous with me in order to complete the project. Here you go Mr. Joey Ramone

The Imaginarians

A recent solo-show at the Grassy Knoll Gallery. Below you can see a series of some characters I has been exploring more in the "none happy" aesthetic, the pieces are 7"X9" acrylic on paper. This is a tendency I want to explore more.

Minis

When I saw these little frames (4"X5") I couldn't resist purchase them. Now I'm doing special mini-pieces (2.5" X 3.5" Ink & coffee on paper) to fit in these small golden frames, I like they look as those old and kitsch vintage frames for classic paintings but miniatures. This is the first one! I hope create a bunch more for selling.

YEP! The Psychedelic Monsters Series

This is the first of a series based in monster characters saying non sense words. Why? cause I love monsters, I like non sense words and I love psychedelic patterns.
7" X 9" Watercolor, ink and coffee on paper.
